1962 seat belts

Hi all.

I'm in need of Red Seat Belts for my 62 vette. Is there any one out there that knows where I can get them? I need the COMPLETE set of Seat Belts.I heard of a company called Snake Oyl.Are they good? Do they have original Buckles? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I just purchased a set of belts from Ssnake Oyl for my early '58, so they had the original blue "hammertone" buckles, which they cleaned up and repainted. The Irving Air Chute tab was an exact replica, as was the four-web weave material for the belt. Although the buckles were the only original parts, the belts are perfect (to my eye) and I was very pleased with them.

John, I ordered a set for my 62 in black and they looke terrific. The original belts that I pulled out of the car had such poorly maintained buckles that I went with the SsnakeOyl complete set and was very pleased. I do not believe they are NCRS correct, however, they certainly look original to the untrained eye. They sell at a better price than the Corvette vendors, also. Good luck.
