1959 was the only C1 to only have black wheels. 58 was silver, 60 was body colored.

I was under the impression that 62's were part of the C1 classification. They had black wheels.

Mike, if you were referring to my comment my verbiage may be confusing. 59 is the only year that C1's ONLY used black wheels. 62 used red or black wheels as you know. Sorry. Chris

In 1962, all equipped w/blackwall tires used...

...body color enamel paint. That would include all available body colors, so they could have been black or any one of 6 other body colors.
