ive had the car apart soooo long i forgot. on a 69 427 with the 7 blade fan is the bracket facing front or back? i looked at the assembly manual and the picture looks like the bracket to the water pump is front. but that makes the blades direction look funny. which direction does the engine rotate? thanks, dick

If you are in front of the engine, I believe you..
..will find the engine normally rotates in a clockwise direction. -
On the other hand... maybe I should reword...
...that to say, the engine normally shouldn't rotate at all, but the crankshaft should normally rotate in a clockwise direction. I double checked this today and found it to be reasonably accurate...Comment
