67 Carpet cutout on luggage stop

Does anyone have a picture of the oval cutout on the back side of the luggage stop that provides access to the handbrake cover mounting screws?

I am not sure what you mean. I do not have an oval cutout there.

Originally there was an "oval" shaped hole about where your shoulder harness cup is as an access hole to install the 2 quarter twenty bolts through the luggage stop and into end of the parking brake cover. How did you put your bolts in?

I just centered them when I installed the shoulder belts two years ago. Did not know there was an access panel there. I peeked underneath the cups today. Nothing. So my car may be incorrect.

Ok, missed the question. I do not know how the parking brake console is secured. Sorry for my faux pas.

Paul, Page Cambbell sent me pics of his original carpets, with his permission I will send them on to you.

              Ken,
Please do. I know the interior of my 1967 was redone at some point. But it seems at least one shortcut was taken. The AIM simply shows two small holes (for the screws) in that bulkhead so I am intrigued. Thanks for getting back to me.

                Ken,
The pictures are I sent were from an orignial 67 but not my car. I was dumb enough to have thrown mine away before I got any pictures. You are more than welcome to send or post the pictures I sent you.

                  Ken,

I will be installing new carpet in my 67 convertible. Could you post the photo's, so i can see how to install mine the correct way. Was also curious on how the back area on the luggage stop was installed.

                  Thanks for your help,

                  Don
