Re: Leather Treatment(s)
Loren, I have used Lexol with very good results. I think that Meguires also has some good products. Another product that is hightly touted in the classic car circles in Connoly (sp) Hide Food. I have no experience with it.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: Leather Treatment(s)
I agree. The leather seats in my wife's 14 year old car look virtually new because of my use of Lexol cleaner followed by their conditioner. I rub the conditioner in, just like you would with a good skin salve. All hand, no cloth, no nuttin!

Re: Leather Treatment(s)
I used Lexol cleaner and the conditioner on all my 60's-70's-80's Ferraris for many years with excellent results; Ferrari leather really gets hard and dry if you don't take care of it, and regular Lexol applications kept it nice and supple.- Top

Re: Leather Treatment(s)
That is an interesting observation. When I use the Lexol conditioner, after using the cleaner, I rub it in extensively by hand, let it sit for an hour or so and then wipe it down with a clean towel. I have not noticed any residue after this last step. Since the leather seats are in my wife's cars, I would catch hell if she got stains or something on her clothes but I will ask her about this.
