67 Convertible Rear Carpet installation

Dear Board Members,

Ready to install the rear area carpet and was hoping some of you that own 67 convetibles could provide some pictures as to the 3-pieca finished sections, and what the finishe look should be. Both side carpet sections at the corners, at the Luggage stop would be helpfull, the AIM is not real specific in this area. Also their are attaching bolts for the Emergency Brake assembly that pass through thr rear of the Luggage stop. The carpet cuts for these to access would also be helpfull.

Hi Don,

I don't have a picture but can tell you that the park brake assembly bolt access needs to be an oval shape cutout that is just enough to expose the bolts. The judges on my convert at the national last year were not too picky on the cut. I used a razor blade to make the cut after carpet was installed.

Is the oval carpet cut opening extend to both bolts, which would be about 3", or is each bolt location cut with carpet material between each bolt.
