    It will vary widely depending on the scope of work, your skill level, and your pace of work and attention to detail, but for a decent amateur, I'd ballpark estimate a loving restoration including going through every major component at about 2000 hours.

      I had 2000 in mind before reading Dukes post. You could reduce the time by farming out the sub assemblys to vendors. Most all suspension parts,seats,engine,tras, paint ect. ect. Paint and body work can take lots of time .
