Original ign shielding grounding clip

The original grounding clip on my '67 had markings(can't remember exactly what they were) on it, not found on the repros. Does anyone know if a '66 gounding clip(small block) has a similar marking identifying it as original?

The one I have has AWT stamped into the metal.

I got mine with an ignition shielding off of eBay. I think it is an early '68, a carry over from the late C-2 era. At the time I was concerned that I got a part I didn't recognize as I have an early '70 which had the grounding tab riveted to the box, not clipped on.

Rob, I bought one from GM in the mid '70s for my '63 but never put it on. I sold the car in '79 so it was purchased in the six years prior to that. It has lived in my box-o-parts ever since. I just dug it out to see the light of day. It has a small "C" stamped on it; that's all.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like all the originals had some marking, as opposed to none on the repros.

Understand the rear grounding clips were marked "CARB" or "FI".

Not sure of date.
