    63 convertible_Mystery cable

63_ Does anyone recognize this small diameter cable. It escaped my labeling system during disassembly. Heater box control, perhaps?

The other end is essentially shown; only about an inch of wire is unseen. No connection on that end, just plain wire.

That resembles the heater control cable from my long gone 66. I think it is called a Bowden cable? Relying on memory here but the cable I am thinknig of connects to the back of the heater panel and runs down to the flap that mixes ambient and heater air.

              Steve,

It's the turn signal cable that runs out of the bell at the top of the steering column and down to the turn signal switch. I believe this cable is another 63 only part and is shown in the AIM in section 12 sheet B6. The installation procedure is also outlined on this page.

That's ok, it was a good answer. It put me on the right track before Timothy confirmed it. Thanks.
