    C3 68 Build sheet

What's the opinion of this one?

    Rich-----

I would say it's authentic, if that's what you're wondering about. I don't consider such a thing valuable, though. I would not pay 5 dollars for it. However, there are folks that will. A similar condition build sheet for a 1967 L-36 just brought over $1,000 on eBay.

      Rich,

It appears to be legitimate, however I used a magnifying glass to look at it closer. I would definitely want to view it in person before stating emphatically one way or the other.

However, unlike Joe I would associate a great deal of value indeed to such a document. It would take a window invoice, protect-o-plate w/pamphlet or Corvette Order Copy such as this to verify a L-71/L89 optioned Corvette in my opinion and would increase the value of such a vehicle tremendously. I would assign a monetary value of at least half if the vehicle was completely correct but had no way of verifying the options without docs.

        Thanks Joe and Warren.

I have what I know is the build sheet for my 68. I was there when the tank came down years ago. It's still on the tank (in my basement), but in REAL bad shape. What made me ask is that I think the line for "L71" is closer to the top on mine. Mine is not an L89, so maybe that's the reason.
