    1967 Bellhousing

I have a question about a correct bellhousing for a 67 small block [L79]. Is the casting # 3899621 correct for this application? Or is this a 'big block' only casting number? I have been told that the 621 number is big block only. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Mark

BB only for the 621, unless you count later 350 engines that used the 11 inch clutch setup.

      Mark------

1967 small blocks used bellhousing GM casting #3858403. 1967-69 L-88/ZL-1 used this bellhousing, too.

As Bill mentioned, for 1967-68 the 3899621 bellhousing was used for big blocks only as far as Corvettes go. From 1969-81, it was used for almost all Corvette applications except L-88/ZL-1 and 70-72 ZR-1.
