Today was the best Monday I've probably had in 20 years. I am looking at a '67 document for a West Virginia title application dated 7-22-67. According to Four Cee my car was shipped from St. Louis on 7-17-67, but they could not come up with a dealer name. I got this on my own investigation. The document has my VIN# with the selling dealer which was "Ideal Chevrolet Sales, Inc." in Hamlin, West Virginia, about 40 miles west of Charleston. I don't think they are in business now. The grantor was the General Motors Corporation, Cincinnati, Ohio and has the original owner's name and address. And guess what? This guy is listed in the Internet directory as having the same address!! Before I order a window sticker from Triple A, would anyone out there have a clue what the street address was for this dealer in '67? Any leads, no matter how trivial, would be welcomed. Thanks.
