I'am rebuilding my hardtop and need org. ncrs side brackets to weld-on, does anyone know a firm who sell this confirm The ncrs??????
Can some one tell me if the hardtop factory-option ever been done by a dealer because my '65 Vette has a Dec. 17 1964 buildingdate and the hardtop has Jan. 9 1965.
Thanks

-------Need a bit of clarification here. Are you saying that the side tabs that protrude downward have been removed ??? This would be the first time I have ever heard of this being done in 40 years of mid-year Corvette work and play, so I have to ask. With that said, if they are gone I believe they will have to be fabricated or taken off another hardtop as I know of no vendor that produces them. As far as a dealer addition hardtop goes, your hardtop may have been added by a dealer but its way more likely that it was added by a former owner. The work and parts to do this addition are both easy to do and easy to come by. Drilling the 4 holes in the correct location is probably the biggest concern. Hope this helps........Bill S
Bill, I have never seen them removed either but beleive it or not, Long Island sells them, part number 19-59. There must be a hardtop molester out there for Long Island to tool up for these.

Hi!
Thanks for the answers, but don't get me wrong, the side brackets were removed by me because i'am rebuilding my '65 hardtop. the old ones were in bad shape.
I've contacted Corvette Central for NOS but on the pics. in the catelog i'll can tell if they are the correct ones and the man on the phone didn't know!
I suppose that the brackets from CC are the correct ones! Please let me know if i'am wrong?
Does anybody know what colour they must be? Chrome???????
Thanks 8-)
