The switch has been replaced in my 66, but I just noticed that the bulb housing has come out of the lens housing and needs to be put back in. New car, new problems, I guess. Anyway, I'm going to do that tonight, but is it possible that both backup lights would cease to work if one became disconnected from the main housing? Any other tips I need to check on before pulling my hair out?
I may have other more serious issues since the gas gauge, the voltage gauge, the temp gauge, courtesy and glove box lights don't work. Voltage meter was replaced by the previous guy, then he gave up. The front wiring harness was corroded and has been replaced, and everything else works great, but the fuse block is still the original, but a little corroded. Any ideas? Could any of these items be related? I know, lots of problems...where to start...as always, I appreciate all the great advice I get from you gentlemen.
Thanks,
Mark
