    Fake Trim Tags on ebay

    I haven't seen these before. How do they compare with the authentic version? I can't quite put my finger on it, but they look a little "off".

      to me it looks to dull, like it is made of tin.

                  They have been selling "repro" trim tags for quite some time. They used to be $200 but apparently they have gone up to $225 now. For that price, they even include the stamping to your specified colors (so this e-bay guy is likely gouging you). I haven't bought any of their product to check out, but maybe they should set up a vendor booth at one of our regionals .

                      Just don't show up at a NCRS event with one and expect not to get a major deduction.
