64 console paint color

I have a 64 Daytona Blue exterior, interior is white with Dark Blue carpet. What color should the center console be? Its currently black, some say it should be Dk Blue to match carpet.

The shifter console should match the blue carpet, main instrument panel, and eyebrow pads.

I have a '64 convertible w/ white vinyl interior and dark blue/navy carpets..... My console trim accents are dark blue/navy as are the dash pads. The instrument panel cluster is black with the frosted instrument bezels...

Yup, the instrument cluster is always black - that's why I said "main instrument PANEL", not instrument cluster.
