Hello all,
I've recently purchased my first C2 66 (327-350) coupe and I'm interested in getting it ncrs judged. My question is: If you had a car that all the numbers were correct with the exception of plug wires, antenna is wrong, front windshield was changed, and distributor cap was replaced...... The under carriage is clean but by no means is it spit shined and polished (it was a frame on). Most of the above items can be easilly corrected, and maybe a few other things that I might find as well. How important are the markings or other original stuff that was underside of the car when being judged?? Does not having a "frame off" virtually preclude you from ever getting top flight status?
I have the judging manual but have never been through this and don't want to get my hopes up if I get it judged.
One other question: The car has KO's but I suspect it didn't come with them, yet I have no window sticker to prove one way or the other just some pre restored photos. How would that impact a judging?
Thanks for all your wisdom, Brian
