    radio capacitor

I removed the dash on my 1962 vet to renew the gauges. In the back of the battery gauge is I believe a radio capacitor. My question is, if I'm not running the original radio can I remove it? Or do I still need it for an aftermarket unit?

you can yank it out, dont need it with a new radio.

I would disconnect it if you like but I wouldn't remove it. Just leave it there. Terry
