who said corvettes dont rust?

I recently purchaced a 1989 coupe and noticed the vin tag that is under the front glass is steamed up and the condensation is rusting!!! Anyone know why or how to fix this

You put your finger on the problem condensed moisture. unfortunately, in it's position it is almost impossible to reach without windshield removal. Maybe another member will have already solved this problem in a simplier fashion.

I know the last thing most new Corvette owners want to do is wait but considering the amount of work you have you might consider waiting four months to walk around Corvettes at Carlisle. If you can;t find it there somebody will know someone that has what you need.
