I have reviewed the archives on this subject and am not clear on the meaning of small dc and large DC. Does in mean small case letters, i.e. dc and large case letters, i.e. DC, or does small and large refer to the difference in physical size of the letters.

They are caps just smaller than the norm. Although, I have never seen any that were dated early enough to be on production vehicles. Those that I have seen are dated `68.

Thanks for answer. Small and large are relative terms. As I don`t have the opportunity to compare side by side yet ..is anyone able to share the size of small and the size of large.
