I need a new mirror for my 67 convertible. My mirror is the style with the grey rubber surround around the mirror. I tried one that turned out to be made overseas, and had to return it due to the grey rubber part being uneven and noticeable crooked. I understand there is a version of this mirror made in the US, possibly by Paragon. Does anyone know of the quality of those mirrors? I am assuming that the original mirrors didn't have uneven rubber surrounds on them. I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't easily noticeable every time I looked at the mirror.

Tim - I've seen some of the reproduction mirrors (don't know who makes them) and they don't look bad at all. I think they make the small know for the earlier 67s and the flipper for the later ones. Paragon would be a place to look. Pete -

Well, the mirror that I had first looked good overall except for the uneven grey rubber surround. Has anyone had similar troubles with the grey surround on repro 67-early 70's mirrors???Comment
