    C2 - 63 Master Cylinder leak

Just figured out where the brake fluid went from my original (never serviced) master cylinder. Only after it sits in garage over the winter I notice that the fluid is down. Now it see a dark spot under the drives floor carpet - brake fluid. Bought a Bendix rebuild kit - will a rebuild take care of leak? What is cause of leak that only occurs during long (cold) downtime? Thanks

The seals are rubber and wear from use will prevent them from sealing.

Wouldn't the cylinder require sleeving to correct the problem?
