Hi guys,
As I understand it, the rear surface of the right front inner fender of a 1967 big block should have the holes used by the small block radiator overflow tank. These holes, however, are filled with putty (or similar) and not rivets.
Does anyone know of an original car where GM used rivets to fill the holes? I was asked by someone who does not frequent the board, who thinks he found 4 cars in the past week with rivets. I suspect it's black painted gobs of filler instead, but thought I'd check here before giving a definitive answer.
Or he found 4 fake cars.
