Have a budddy looking to buy 1985 to 1995 corvette and he asked me if there were any years not to buy. Were the problems with any of these years? Thanks in advance.

Re: Newer Corvettes
I had a 90 for several years and really enjoyed it and while owning, learned some things from other C4 owners...of course these are opinions and for every one...another owner can site great experiences.
I like the 90 due to the upgraded interior that set stage for C5 interiors along with the 6-speed, Z51 and L98 motor. L98 seem to be desired motors due to their torgue and like by the autocrossers. I recall early years with the 4+3 transmission...well, troublesome. The 92 models and up seem to be the desired C4 models due to the LT1 and its 300 hp + the earlier years that maxed out at 245 hp. In fact...these powertrains seemed to be the preferred for the Retro vettes. Hey you could even get the K05 engine block heater with base motors.
And of course you can't go wrong with any ZR1 year!Tom Russo
