I looked thru the archives and found nothing related, except a discussion about 2x4 WCFB's flooding under braking....
The beast in question is a '62-340 with the original, Bob Kunz-rebuilt AFB. Under hard braking (with the cltuch depressed), the engine bogs signficantly and wants to stall. In fact, sometimes it does. I am having a hard time believing that these drum brakes can generate enough deceleration to starve the carb of fuel, and that one second of decel is enough to cause this, but maybe it is ???. In the mean time, I'm working on my heel and toe skills!
Does anyone have any idea whether fuel starvation could cause a symptom like this? Thanks!
