    John, I have seen some dyno results on the semi-hemi heads that you are talking about. The port runners and valves were so large that you had very poor throttle response below 6,500-7000 rpms that they were not practical. Were still pulling strong approaching 10,000 though. There is one of those engignes sitting on a stand about 20 minutes from me. I have been trying to buy it for about 15 years with no luck. All I want it for is to sit in my office for display.

      I am not telling names but his initals are JJ and Vince Piggins, when they were on better terms, furnished the engine.

        there was a Z-28 at the muscle car show

        in nashville with this engine. i always said if weslake had made these heads for chevys he would have sold a lot more. my friend dan white,a ford nut,has a set of them for a small block ford.

            hey Clem,

            was that a 69 Z-28 yellow with black strips? was a car like that with those heads a few years ago in a chevy mag.

              if i remember correctly it was blue

              the car was in hot rod magazine after the show.

                There was a yellow car with the Hemi heads that was owned by Dwight Wiggins a few years ago IIRC. I've been out of Camaros for a while though.
