If every part would be judged as you describe the starter at some point no car could score a 97. At the point the judging makes it impossible for someone to restore a corvette for an owner or their own corvette and get a 97 soon their will be no cars showing up for judging and also no need for all those expert judges NCRS has created. I have heard it many times at regionals that a Duntov 5-10 years ago would be lucky to get a 94 Top Flight today. At some point a 97 may need to be scaled down to a lower number to allow for the expert judges and the informaintion put in the Restorer for all to use.
