The judging manual says that a 67 equipped with U15-- speedminder speedo-- "have a convex plastic lens on the speedometer and tachometer in lieu of glass." Is this correct? I just picked up a 57K-mile convertible that has been sitting since 1981--California car, and although the lenses are plastic, they are concave. There's no evidence of this ever having been apart. It's a later car--186XX VIN-- any comments on the correctness of the car versus the judging manual?
PS--also K19, headrest seats, telescopic column, base-motor, M20, 3.36 posi, two tops (both black vinyl). Goodwood green/saddle, blackwalls. Original drivetrain. Everything fits with what's on the tank sticker. Anyone know dealer 207 in the LA zone? It's not in the NCRS data-base.
Thanks!
