    BW T-10 shift levers

Assembly manual does not show what holds the shift levers on the shifting shaft sholders. My shift levers don't have any lock washer marks. Next time someone is under their car could you have a glance at the tranny. Did the factory use a washer, lock washer, and nut? Thanks in advance.

The exploded drawings in the shop manuals and RPO service supplements all show nuts and lock washers retaining the levers to the transmission shifter shafts.

        Richard,
I believe John answered your question more accurately. After rereading your post, I think you were referring to what I call the shift arms. Meaning the case-hardened levers that attach to the threaded shafts which protrude through the side cover and are part of the shift fork.

          Thank you

The shift arms that attach to the threaded shafts on the transmission is what I was asking about. So, general consenses is just a lock washer and a nut- no washer. Thank you all very much.
