    Kick panels and sill plates

    I would ask anyone on the panel if they would please email a picture of the kick panels and sill plates on a 62 i am reinstalling those two items on my car and would like some close up pic. of these areas prev. owners have i am sure removed and installed more than once holes are larger than trim srews and sill plate screws was wondering should i fill with resin and redrill holes thank you in advance coutdown is two weeks for first drive.

    Fill the holes and start over. The items you are installing dictate the hole positions.

      Drywall anchors will work fine for items like sill plates if you don't want to go to all the trouble.

        I used the Permatex thread repair I got from an auto parts store to repair two stripped-out threads for the sill plates in my 69. It was pretty quick and easy.
