53-55 Temp sender

I'm curious and meant to ask about the NCRS 55 JM that said the temp gage end had writing or numbers on the top. I never have ever seen any on any 53 to 55 Corvette. What are they talking about? I lost a point on that and told them they never had any.

Another error in the JM, is my thought,

because mine is original, in pretty good condition, and has the same numbers as yours; nothing.

how many miles do you have on that 55?

113000 miles on the original engine and still running fairly good burning NO oil but dripping oil.
We drive the darn thing to much , but I keep it original and nice and still cant believe we took a top flight at Park City. THANKS
