I am in the process of putting my gauge cluster back together. I have the glass in, with new gaskets, and the glass retaining bracket in place. I have hit a snag putting the turn signal and other bulb filters in place. I have five cardboard tubes, three with a black gasket at one end, the other two without, and I can't figure out where they go. Two of them have to be for the turn signals, but which two and where the other three go has me stumped. (bad notes and no pictures at that stage). Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Re: 1964 Gauge Cluster Reassembly
Mark, check all of your parts catalogs, one of them must have an exploded view of the cluster.
Also, when I rebuilt mine, I only remember two cardboard cylinders. It was a 63 cluster. Bubba may have lost a few in the past, but I just recall two.

Think I got it
Cardboard w/o gasket = turn signals; go between glass retaining ring and the "top" retaining ring.
The three with the gaskets are for the hibeam, parking brake and headligh bucket warning lamps; go between the top retaining ring and the large gauge assembly.- Top
