My '60 has a newer Edelbrock carb, and NOM 350. With the timing set to 8 deg. advance, it idles nicely. When I pull sharply on the throttle linkage, it gives a "huff", hesitates like it's not getting any gas, and if I release the linkage quickly it goes back to a normal idle. It looks like the accelerator pump is working fine, I can see the gas coming out. If I very gently and slowly pull on the linkage, the hesitation is minimal and rpms go up normally. This is probably something real simple, but I'm not figuring it out...help!
