Babyblue, my 1966 327/350 convertible, is a very good driver. She is so fun to drive, and I try wo watch the weather, but occasionally, I get caught in the rain. The top does not leak. I have repaired the leak from the driver's airvent (old tool and debris in that poorly drained space). I have inspected the firewall. There is a leak under the dash, rain water falls directly on my left foot from above. I cant see anything with visual inspection (but difficult area to see). Could water be coming in through the outer grill at the base of the windshield wiper, or underneath the windshield? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Could be leaking due to a dried-up seal where the wiper transmission attaches to the bottom of the plenum panel (sealed on the top side, under the cowl vent grille), or could be rust perforation at the bottom of the windshield frame.- Top

Re: C2 rain leak
Back in 1972 we removed the entire front top panel including the area that covered the vent grille. Most boy shops would cut glass replacement just before air vents and never see what we did.
Once removed it was obvious that an area existed at the top of the hinge pillar assembly (metal area) and the fibergalss panel that a gap existed where water would drop through and rain on your feet. We filled the area from the top and water never again came in. Now the other areas mentioned by John also need to checked out and sealed.
