    1964 Trip Odometer Reset Tube

I have been pouring over my AIM and shop manuals and cannot figure out how the trip odometer reset tube is routed from the back of the instrument cluster to the holder for the reset button. The AIM shows what appears to be a hole in the top of the pedal mounting bracket that it would pass through, but my bracket has no such hole. Also, how is the reset knob mounted in the holder? I assume I have the right holder bracket - its the little piece that protrouds forward from the steering column mounting bracket.

Thanks. My car never had a working trip odeometer before, so there was no tube in place when I took it apart.

    Happy 4th!
