All,
Yesterday, on the 4th of July, I had the pleasure to pickup one of the former, Montana based car owners of our 69 BB Vette from Amsterdam to offer him and his wife a ride in his old car (they are NCRS member as well!!!). He re-united with the car after be parted with it for 30 years and was able to tell all kind of nice stories about the history of the car and alterations made by himself and consequent owners since then...
The nicest thing he told me was that he proposed his wife back then in the car (and he brought photo's to prove it) and naturely it was a great thrill for him and his wife to take the car out for a spin after all those years driving through the Dutch county site. We visted a real Dutch windmill and a cheese farm (to try out some of the Dutch cheeses). We had a great time and enjoyed this special moment immensly!!!
What a joy it is having this Vette hobby and what a pleasure to be in the mids of such a nice people worldwide!!!
greetings,
Rob Musquetier
