I have a 1969 Corvette that I removed the Speedo/tach dash to track down any bad vac. lines. On the back off the tach is a relay? with 2 vac ports on one side and 1 vac port on the other side with 2 terminals Any help would be Great!!
This slolenoid sends the vacuum signal to open the wiper door. When you turn the wiper switch on, the solenoid opens up and lets vaccum flow to the relay valve, which then opens and lets vacuum flow to the cannister on the firewall.
Basocally an electrical switch that opens "Allows" vacumn to the wiper door actuator. One of the vacumn connectors is a vent - so no hose gets attached to it.
