On July 2, 2006 we lost Gordon "Pete" Peterson, a long time member of the NCRS and contributor to the NCRS discussion board. His sudden passing shocked all of us who live in the area and knew him.
Gordon was the man who introduced me to the NCRS and many dimensions of the Corvette hobby. He was very active in Corvettes United, our local club. His enthusiasm and passion for cars in general, and Corvettes in particular, was truly infectious. He was always willing to share his vast knowledge of Corvettes. He inspired me to write. Eventually I wrote my first, and to date, only article to be published in The Corvette Restorer- in part, because of him.
Thanks and goodbye Gordo.
