i lost 25 points on operations at my first judging (chaper meet) because the window washers did not squirt. It sounded like it wanted to but, alas, there was no fluid in the tank. So, i get home and clean out and fill the tank, press the squirt button...still sounds like it wants to go but ...nothing but dry squirts. Further investigation shows the lines are eaten thru....maybe a mouse or something..who knows. Now, got fresh hose lines in, everything clean and ..look at that ..both squirt all over the window(not bad for a 39 year old pump). The problem is this. The passenger side squirts too low and the driver side..oh my gosh, squirts way over the top of the car. I don`t see any adjustment to the squirters......any ideas on how to solve would be appreciated. I was thinking i could shim one side up using washers and one side down by using washers at a different angle..but that certainly isn`t a correct solution.

Re: C2 67 window washer aims high
If you have original squirters they have adjustable brass balls in them. These brass balls can become frozen with time, put a drop of PB Blaster or the like on the balls and work them free with the smooth end of a drill bit.- Top

If you have reproduction nozzles with the pressed-in fixed brass orifice, they aren't adjustable; only the originals (or the new Corvette Specialties of Maryland reproductions) have the adjustable brass ball for aiming the stream.- Top

Re: C2 67 window washer aims high
that worked....maybe the whole on the left nozzel expanded a bit..brass is soft..but it looks pretty damn good now..i may tinker with it a bit more. wonder what one does with the after market non adjustable washers? thank you for the great help..that alone was worth many times the price of admission to this site.- Top
