    C1 Power steering

Does anyone know where to get a power steering conversion for a C1?

    Thanks

Try www.cranescorvette.com. I know he has them, not cheap. You might try any search engine on the internet.

      Jeremy...

Think about installing a rack & pinion setup. A lot of Rodded C1's use this system.

Do you mean fabricating a fit for a rack and pinion?

Just seems to me that once you decide to up-grade any C1, best make it easier to steer and stop. I like the bolt-ins that Jim Meyer has developed, Disk brakes & the mustang rack.

In the meanwhile, I will keep my old '61 as is and stay in the right lane.

Where do I find out about this Jim Meyer setup?

54 and possibly 53 chevy pass cars had a power steering option.if you'd like to keep the c-1 relativly stock and be able to return it to non-ps, you might look for the pass car setup. i'd predict the setup would be way more expensive than current aftermarket street-rod setups. mike
