Points of attachment for a 66 grille

My 66 Coupe is in for paint and the grille is out. It will go back in in a few days. Since I have owned the car it has only been atttached using the two ourward brackets. I have purchased the center upper support rod so that gives me three points of attachment. One more. The lower center attachment of the grille is attached how to the car?

One more time. I am on Reba's computer now. For some reason mine will not let me link to this post. Probably because it is way past this old man's bedtime

Thanks Dick. My car has been damaged in the front years ago. I still have the upper fiberglass tab under the nose but the bottom one is gone now. However the center support rod for the grille was also missing along with the headlight motor support on the driverside. So at least at this time those will be put back in. Found those at Paragon.

              Dennis,

I believe that the early 66's did not have a center support rod. Center rod was added in later 66 and is on all 67's.

                Dave,

This is my understanding. According to Nolan Adams resto guide a mid year change for the center support rod occured at #114333. My car is #115451. Sooooooo I assume mine would have had the center support rod.
