Did the stone guard seals for the wheels carry through 1962? thnx!

I think the slotted wheel covers...
...that were phased in during 1958 spelled the demise of the rubber hose as the little rocks could sneak out the slots, however I do not know exactly when the changeover actually took place.- Top

the only vettes i've got that have the rubber tubing when i got them were the 54 and 55. my 56 is an original 100K mile car and i'm the second owner. it lacks the rubbers but one car doesn't write the judging manual.our 57's were way too modified when i got them to make a call. mike- Top

My 58' still has its original wheels and they do have the rubber inserts....the wheels also still have the original Inca Silver paint (whats left of it) and are dated Oct. and Nov. 1957 with the serial# of the car being 1327 (Nov. 27 final assembly date).- Top
