does any one know where I can get a barrel nut for the frt. parking lens 57
I checked corvette central and one other place and they have been discontinued

Restoreation spec and supplies, windber pa @ 814 467 9842 has the barrel/sleeve nuts. depending of size, they run from 1.10 to 1.65. ask for their catalog--it'll blow your mind what they have in the way of specialty fastners. mike
Look close and see that C1's (original) barrel nut first "design"is slotted and the head is round , replacement "second" design barrel nuts the head was cut at a angle both sides and not round. Also the over the counter dealer parking light assy came also with the "second" design nuts, that's why some people think they are original ( you see this happen again on 56-60 tail light Len nuts "Slotted or fillips head" slotted is original) . Sorry I don't have a pic. Of it right now and yes my 55 needs a wash job.
