    Number Game

This is a good example of a part number that supercedes an original part number and in most cases it also means a different looking second design part. That is why some people buy on e-bay thinking a part is original NOS as some sellers mention ( many sellers don't know them self that the part don't look anything like a original part) using a superceded number and saying original NOS 55 Dist. Rotor.
I some times write a seller mentioning the part they show is not original but second design and many sellers dint know.
Real original rotor for 55-early 56 is on the right!

    Re: Number Game

My 55 Chev Bel Air sedan I owned in 1964 had a V8, don't remember seeing the early rotor on it though. Thanks for the history, now I will be able to tell my brother what he needs for his 55 sedan and 55 delivery.
