    Those crazy Camaro guys

eBay "400" NOS Vac. advance just went for $ 478. (click on link)

I figure mine (in auto-load pic below) should be worth $100 on a weight-ratio basis . This from a 1111267 Camaro TI tach drive distr (OTC ? dated April '69) that a previous owner decided to nullify the advance feature by brazing the rod to the bracket (see the lower edge of the cut), then slicing off the vacuum can.

$478 I dont know what it's worth, but some crazy 55 Corvette nut may pay that for this one. I'v only seen four in 35 years 55 car or Corvette.

Roy-- I do not believe that vacuum advance is from a 55 vette The 55 is no 1110098 I think.(I do not have my manual with me)and yes I would pay $500. if it was correct and had the correct no on it (2nd series-- non operating.

Sorry you are wrong my #1118085 is correct, after 55 #400?? the #1116098 was used which was a blank unit , no vacuum line. But after #400?? you may see ether one installed.
I had to repost my later pic. for you, I take them off after one day, few people responed to my pic.'s or post , vary few early C1 guys on the forum.
You can see the number is CASTED in to the part and not cut in like some you see because they are so hard to find.

Roy / Don I'm no C1 guy but my Delco test specs

read ( for distr 1110855 -- 1955 Corvette V8 with vac. adv.) should use vac advance model # 1116085 [per DR-324S test specifications manual].
Looking closely at your 2nd pic, I can imagine that the 4th digit is a "6" rather than an eight.
