Regarding those little red generator tags for the field terminal. Is that thing glued down or should it just be placed around the terminal as is?

if you laminate it, expect the judges to "poop in yer wheaties" at deduction time. the little critters are so cheap and easy to replace, i'd not bother with laminating them.mike

Ok! OK! Take the one you have to a copy print shop and have 50 coped so when it gets wet you can keep replacing them. Cheaper then buying them at what $3.00 plus S/H

to give you an example of the longevity of the generator circular semi-carboard/ heavy paper tags, i put a repo on our 57 in 1990. its a Duntov car, has about 15K miles since restoration, some at a 1/4 mile at a time, some an autocross minute at a time, and a lot of pleasure driving. i can recall Gunking the "283"(ya gotta trust me on the displacement) at least a doz times in the last 15 years. the tag, worn somewhat, is intact.when it craps itself(? 2010 or better), hope doc Dobbins is still selling them for 3 bucks. mikie
