Just to give you all some reasoning for that cryptic thread below. I went to look at a 1964 Corvette the other day, and was surprised to see a Smith car with drill starts for the power window cable's cutout area, in the hinge pillar. First time that I can recall seeing one with the dimples. I was hoping for more responses, but even with the few that did respond, I see now that the "dimple" rule is not "hard-and-fast". Certainly an interesting item for a survey, and more research.
I can probably safely say that, almost all St Louis bodies have them, and very few Smith bodies have them too.
