I know, I've read all the stuff about how these auctions get carried away, but maybe someone can reunite the original engine with their car (who knows?). Info as follows:
This is a 1965 corvette-365 hp. bare block-standard bore-cylinder walls are in good condition-the used pistons are included & main bearing caps (stud kit on caps)-no crank or rods, the cast # 3782870-the cast date C 19 5 (march 19, 1965) stamp on pad is F0322 (march 22 ), vin # prefix is 5113924
