I was at an Illinois small town Octoberfest about 20 years ago and an old timer had these magazines for sale. I thought they were cool then and I still do.
I hung out at an old Shell station as a kid..and the magazines remind me of the characters I used to meet at the station.
The mechanics , the customers, the cars, the women etc..
I remember one big time bullsh*tter at the station..who used to brag that he was at the scene when Jayne Mansfield was killed in the car accident.
