    C2 small block distributor

    C2 fans,

The most current 1966 NRCS judging manual says the correct distributor for a 1966 base motor (327/300) should have a part number on a thin aluminum band that reads 1111153 followed by a date code. Can anyone tell me the correct application for a distributor with a band that reads 1111194 with a date code of 6 F 13? Was 1111194 a 1967 small block number? Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

    Jim-----

GM #1111194 was originally used for 1967 and 1968 Corvettes with 300 hp 327 engine. By the date, I'd say the one you have was originally installed on an early 1967 Corvette.
